DTP - BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF ASIA-PACIFIC HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENTS 1990 - 2021

Welcome to this issue of DTP’s eNewsletter. As Australia’s Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs spoke to Australia’s new Indigenous Diplomacy Agenda, DTP alumnus Binota Moy Dhamai highlights the struggles of Indigenous peoples, including the Mro in Bangladesh, Indonesian alumna Nukila Evanty shares a new video highlighting the impacts of Palm Oil on Indigenous peoples and Cambodian Indigenous leader Kreung Tola is removed from office for protesting against illegal logging. This issue continues the focus on Cambodia and the human rights and democracy emergency in Myanmar, some new resources and calls for solidarity.
