DTP - BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF ASIA-PACIFIC HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENTS 1990 - 2021

HUMAN RIGHTS LEADERSHIP TO INFLUENCE POLICY: Australian Awards Indonesia is funding DTP and partners to work with 25 Indonesian human rights defenders in a new program beginning next month. Participants will be working on projects addressing refugee rights, children's rights, disability rights, strengthening human rights advocacy, business and human rights, and indigenous peoples rights among others.

ALUMNI PROFILE: BINOTA MOY DHAMAI

Binota is a Bangladeshi indigenous rights activist. He was recently elected Vice-chair of the high-level UN Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Binota began his rights advocacy in response to the “disappearance” of Kalpana Chakma.
