DTP - BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF ASIA-PACIFIC HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENTS 1990 - 2021

This issue of DTP’s eNews coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the Paris Peace Accords that promised peace, democracy and human rights following the Cambodian genocide. Marking the anniversary, one of the Accords architects, former Australian Foreign Minister Gareth Evans highlights the broken promises on democracy and human rights, the resilience of the people and the importance of civil society. We will host a special webinar with the Hon Gareth Evans hosted by Yuyun Wahyuningrum on December 9th, International Day for the Prevention of Genocide. More details will follow shortly.

In other news in this issue, DTP continues the focus on Myanmar, brings news of and from alumni, of programs, resources and jobs – and two regional forums on human rights, environment and business are calling for registrations.
