DTP - BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF ASIA-PACIFIC HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENTS 1990 - 2022

Welcome to this issue of DTP’s eNews. In this eNews we profile Fijian DTP alumnus Tevita Naikasowalu and share information from our partners and alumni, news and resources. With the invasion of Ukraine and the horrors of war dominating the world news, the spotlight of international attention has moved from the human rights and humanitarian crisis in Myanmar – and the victims of human rights violations across the world. Out of the spotlight, the work of human rights defenders continues in countries including Myanmar. This work is vital to building peaceful societies that respect human rights, and solving conflicts through dialogue. Investing in their work has never been more important. On Ukraine, we share this appeal for peace and dialogue made by the International Trade Union Congress.
