Dian is a researcher at the Centre for Human Rights Studies in the University of Surabaya. She specialises in environmental, women and children issues. As a researcher at the Centre for Human Rights, she conducts research, coordinates training, public discussions and workshop, reviews human rights related publications for the organisation, and liaises for networking activities. She has conducted research in the area of corporate social responsibility, migrant workers and more specifically the Lapindo mudflow at Sidoarjo. She believes that research and data collection is essential in informing advocacy work and hopes that the DTP training will enhance her understanding and knowledge of the practical application of human rights in relation to business.
