Earl is studying behavioural science, psychology, anthropology and sociology at Charles Darwin University. In the past he has been the Vice President of the Charles Darwin University Psychological Association, President of CDU’s Indigenous Association, and Chairperson for the Australian Commonwealth Federal Public Service Caucus. He is a volunteer for various Indigenous groups.
Earl is a father to five children: Robert, Stephen, Kirsty, Munnawarra, and Taliah –howanna. Earl comes from a rich heritage of Aboriginal, Chinese, Afghan, Scottish, Irish and English backgrounds.
, Earl King was born in Mount Isa Queensland, and is a decedent of Australian Aboriginal Waanji Gungalida (Gulf of Carpentaria, Father’s side), Wakamadla (edge of the Simpson desert, Boulia- Dajarra area, Mother’s side), Chinese Mandarin, Afghan, Scottish, and Irish. He has worked as a Boilermaker, Mine Rescue, Administration officer- Commonwealth Employment Service NT and QLD, Field officer Aboriginal programs NT-Katherine.
In 1995 Earl was the Chair of the Commonwealth and Federal Public Sector Indigenous Caucus held in Brisbane that coincided with the Asia-Pacific Human Rights talks.
Earl is currently studying at Charles Darwin University – Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology).
