Lesley Law

Lesley Faye Law is a training compliance manager for the Queensland Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Education Program Aboriginal Corporation. This is a registered training organisation which trains Indigenous health workers from urban and remote areas throughout Queensland. Lesley’s primary responsibilities include ensuring that learning resources, assessment materials and academic files comply with relevant legislation, maintaining the currency of the programs and making sure industry developments and new technologies are incorporated into the programs. Previously, Lesley has worked in Indigenous legal services, particularly in the area of criminal law. In this role, she helped inform clients of their legal rights and responsibilities and counselled clients through the often complex legal process.
