Alice is a researcher and advocate on migrant and refugee protection in Malaysia. Trained as an occupational psychologist she coordinates a national network of civil society groups working with refugees and migrants. Her responsibilities are varied and include collecting data on the situation of migrants and refugees and working with refugee community-based organizations to build capacity for leadership, service provision and advocacy. She is particularly interested in how advocates can use the Convention on Migrant Workers and the ILO Conventions in collaboration with trade unions.
