As a Human Rights Lawyer, he defends people within the criminal justice system in criminal cases and trials where there are breaches of human rights. He has also focused on state sponsored human rights violations carried out by the military, police and prisons including torture and brutality against citizens and prisoners. He has exposed extra judicial killings and deaths of people while in custody. Aman’s next objective is to make inroads into exposing human rights violence in the Asia Pacific region and he hopes that this program will assist in enhancing his skills, knowledge and capacity when working for Indigenous peoples, vulnerable peoples and victims of human rights violations.
