Amanda McCarthy

Amanda McCarthy is the Indigenous Program Coordinator with Country Energy and is responsible for Indigenous Employment & Development across NSW and QLD. Amanda’s role brings often brings her in contact with issues relating to discrimination, racism and equal opportunity. She is also a member of the Orange Local Aboriginal Lands Council, Orange Community Working Party and is an acting board member for Orange Aboriginal Medical Service. Amanda is interested in human rights and particularly the rights of Indigenous peoples across Australia and throughout the world. She enjoys the challenge of learning something new and then looking at how best to apply the learning’s to her various roles in her community.
