Anirban Saha

Senior Investigator, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK)
Bangladesh
Anirban Saha works as a Senior Investigator in ASK for the past eight years. As a service holder Anirban has worked with NGO’s for over ten years. His work in ASK includes Human rights situation monitoring, monitoring on social corporate responsibilities and liaison with Human Rights Defender forums among many others. ASK or AIN O SALISH KENDRA is a national legal aid and human rights organisation that provides legal and social support to the minority groups, particularly women, working children and workers. In working with investigating the mass grave of human trafficking in Thailand and Malaysian borders in early 2015, Anirban worked closely in supporting the victims of the trafficking and their families in assisting them with legal aid. Anirban believes that the DTP’s Capacity Building for Advocacy for migrant workers and safe migration program will assist participants to work together in developing practical strategies to protect and promote migrant workers’ rights in the national and regional level. He would like to be a part of this program to gain more knowledge on International human rights standards for migrant workers. This will help him integrate that knowledge in his investigations to further assist human Trafficking victims and migrant workers alike.
