Aparna Mukkavilli

Aparna is a senior member of the team at the Asmita (“Identity”) Resource Centre for Women, Sikandrabad. She provides counselling, professional legal advice and information to women who approach ARCW with human rights violations. Aparna is also a community resource person developing a range of human rights training programs and supporting a team of volunteers working in rural areas, raising consciousness on issues of gender, rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment in the workplace, health and human rights and disability rights. Aparna holds a Master of Laws, specializing in human rights, from the Nalsar University of Law. Her participation in the program will help strengthen the existing research, advocacy and campaigns on diverse aspects of human rights in the organization.
