Aya Maraqa

Ms. Maraqa works in Jordan as a National Program Officer at the Global Program Migration and Development (GPMD) Kha- the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) for two years. She is based at the regional office in Amman and covers the Middle East in her work. She has twelve years’ experience working in the field of development and human rights with international organizations and development agencies. In her current work, she assists the implementation of SDC Decent Work program in the region which seeks to ensure that migrant workers benefit from decent working and living conditions and are empowered to be actors of development and she contributes to developing and following up on projects under GPMD portfolio.
