Ayu Kusuma Pertiwi

Ayu works in the Organisation and Education Department at WALHI Central Kalimantan. Ayu’s role includes organizing training events and field work in Central Kalimantan. She supports 62 individuals and 8 organisation members with advocacy for their communities. As the only female field worker Ayu is responsible for integrating gender perspectives into the organisation and its programs. Ayu is confident that DTP’s training will build her capacity to advocate more effectively for sustainable practices on the lands of Indigenous People in Central Kalimantan and she believes it will assist in implementing WAHLI’s mission to ensure justice and equity of the environment and society through advocacy.
