Catherine Wright

Catherine is currently the coordinator of an Indigenous family violence centre in Queensland, Australia. Here she leads, coordinates and manages a team which delivers healing services that incorporate traditional Indigenous practices, as well as more contemporary healing techniques. Her goals include the continued development of a community response to issues of family violence, as well as increasing the accessibility of existing services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Catherine hopes that the training will provide her with leadership skills, and will allow her to network with other Indigenous service providers.
