Chanthida Nhiek

Chanthida is the Coordinator of NGO-CEDAW which monitors the Cambodian government’s implementation of CEDAW. NGO-CEDAW undertakes research on the implementation of CEDAW in Cambodia, submits reports to the Government and four-year shadow reports to the CEDAW Committee in the UN. She has completed a range of training courses, as well as Master of Science and Master of Business Administration. She wishes to use the knowledge gained from this Program to advocate for trafficking laws in Cambodia and development of policy on migration management. She plans to share this knowledge with NGO-CEDAW’s 68 organizational members and the nine NGO networks working on issues around trafficking, violence against women, gender, education, and health
