Currently, Crispim is focusing on the issue of marginalized youth who lack opportunities. He is advocating for the government to pay attention to marginalized youth. In 2020 he helped carry out advocacy for teachers’ rights, resulting in winning contracts for some and the rest being verified by the Timor-Leste Ministry of Education. Crispim hopes to get some knowledge so he can support the voice of the community in effective ways. This includes learning diplomacy, which he sees as very meaningful in working towards making a better contribution. He sees it as very meaningful and useful to make a better contribution to his beloved nation, and to build his solidarity networks.
DTP acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, the Bedegal people of the Eora Nation. We recognise their lands were never ceded, and we acknowledge their struggles for recognition and rights and pay our respects to the Elders – past, present – and the youth who are working towards a brighter tomorrow. This continent always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
