Fiona Moore

Fiona is the National Manager for the IAP. Her key responsibilities include staff recruitment and support, budget management, planning and monitoring of programs, partnership and alliance building and input to development of Oxfam Australia and Oxfam international on policy and practice. Prior to moving to Oxfam, Fiona was the inaugural National Manager of the Telstra Foundation. She has worked in senior positions in Indigenous, rural and women’s health organisations. For eight years she managed the grant-making program of The Stegley Foundation where she contributed to strategic developments in the wider philanthropic and not for profit sectors particularly indigenous communities and their organisations. She also worked as the director of a regional arts centre, as a board member of a number of arts industry and policy bodies and taught in universities and the Institute of Aboriginal Development. Fiona believes the best way for promoting human rights in Oxfam is through the Indigenous health campaign, media and advocacy training for indigenous Australians, support to emerging and existing Indigenous representative bodies and support to Indigenous people to promote their issues in national and international forums
