Geri works for AHCWA which is the peak body for 19 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) in WA. ACCHSs are also known as Aboriginal Medical Services. Geri is currently involved in a project that is reviewing the current administrative and governance systems and promoting the use of the Management Framework Manual in ACCHSs as a quality organisational management system. She was the chairperson for the Southern Aboriginal Corporation for 6 years working with the organisation working on issues relating to relating to health-welfare, education, employment, land, and housing. Geri was previously Aboriginal Liaison Officer servicing 26 schools, setting up links with schools and Noongar organisations with programs such as homework classes, outta-school programs and early childhood programs. . Geri is an ambassador for her people. She has promoted Noongar resources through the Native American’s Language Conference at Flagstaff and also represented her community at a conference on sexual child abuse in Florida.
