Jeudy Oeung

Jeudy is currently working as a Peace and Development Officer at the UN Resident Coordinator Office (UNRCO) in Cambodia, where he coordinates and provides thematic support and advice in relation to human rights, legal and political analysis and civil society engagement for the UNRCO. Before joining the UN, Jeudy worked as a Program Officer at the Embassy of Sweden in Phnom Penh for seven years, where he coordinated Swedish funding support to several academic partners and civil society organisations working towards the promotion and protection of human rights in Cambodia. From 2003 to 2013, Jeudy worked as a Program Officer for the Cambodian Human Rights Action Committee (CHRAC), a coalition of 22 human rights NGOs responsible for coordinating the investigation of high-profile human rights cases and bringing them to the attention of the government and local authorities. His experience includes human rights monitoring and advocacy, legal aid, transitional justice, and local democracy and elections. Jeudy is an alumnus of the DTP 16th Annual Human Rights and People’s Diplomacy Training Program in Timor-Leste.
