Khaleda Sarkar

Khaleda Sarkar has been working with BOMSA, Dhaka as the centre in-charge since 2012. She has worked with many women migrants and women migrant and workers’ rights issues at the Dhaka centre. She provides psycho-social aid to women migrants who have been mistreated in the workplace. Human rights knowledge is a constraint in the Bangladeshi society and there is a high demand for instructors and trainers alike to educate the masses about their rights. Khaleda seeks to alleviate the situation of women migrants and workers in her area by gaining leadership and training skills from the DTP.
