Krishna Ghale, being an Indigenous woman from Nepal, is a staunch believer and activist for equal human rights for the marginalised women belonging to Indigenous populations in Nepal. Having qualifications and training in biodiversity and hydro power plants, Krishna works for Indigenous human rights with Indigenous communities. She has previously worked at Indigenous Women’s People, which enhanced her knowledge in voicing for rights of Indigenous people. At present she works as research associate at Society for Wetland Biodiversity Conversational Nepal where she is also committed towards addressing Indigenous human rights evolving around water, culture biodiversity and hydropower issues in Indigenous community in Nepal. Through this training she expects to engage with like-minded people advocating for rights of Indigenous communities.
