Ms Jenkins is from Australia but resides in Qatar. She is a NSW Supreme Court submitted solicitor with a contract and compliance background and has worked in Australia, Singapore and Qatar. Since September 2013 she has worked for the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) which is the organization responsible for delivering the infrastructure for the FIFA 2022 World Cup QatarTM. She was a major contributor to the SC’s Workers’ Welfare Standards and its associated policies and procedures, including conducting worker accommodation and ethical recruitment and employment audits and developing the overarching governance and compliance processes. Additionally, she has developed good working relationships with international NGOs such as Amnesty International and other organisations such as BWI and the ILO. She believes that by participating in the DTP Workshop she would like to hear and understand the experiences and challenges facing organisations in the GCC region regarding recruitment practices and developing sustainable ethical recruitment and employment methodologies.
