Midaria is the Coordinator of Knowledge Management in KIARA, the People’s Coalition for Fisheries Justice, which is non-profit organization that advocates for fishers’ rights. As the Coordinator of Knowledge Management, she has particular expertise in marine and fisheries management. She has written various publications on marine and fisheries issue including Fishers Women, Pillar of The Archipelagic State in “Women in The Management of Natural Resources and Environment” (2011), IJEPA: The fate of Fisheries on The Table of Negotiation (2010) and Development for Whom: The Impact of Reclamation Project toward against fisher women and children in The North Coast of Jakarta, Indonesia (2009).
