Nenden Arum

Nenden S. Arum is the Head of Freedom of Expression Division at Southeast Asia Freedom of Expression Network (SAFEnet), a non-profit organisation which promoting digital rights as human rights in regional. Nenden also took part in the Indonesian Journalist Safety Committee consisting of the various press alliances, civil society organizations, and legal aid institutions to end the violence and repression against journalists. The main reason Nenden wants to participate the AAI Human Rights Leadership to Influence Policy program is to polish her ability in accessing and influencing government policies to improve the advocacy process for the revision of the ITE Law and other regulations.
