Temu Murtinah

Tymu’s work involves helping migrant workers to claim their rights, working with migrant workers’ unions in Lampung to prevent the trafficking of persons, accompanying and advocating for migrant workers affected by cases including fraud, violence and death at work. He is responsible for coordinating and communicating to all parties involved so that the rights of migrant workers are well handled and their demands can be granted by the government. He is also involved in socialization related to safe migration for those who want work abroad. Temu believes that the DTP program can improve his ability to advocate for migrant workers who have submitted complaints through his organization. In addition, the skills and experience gained will assist him and his organization to encourage local governments to pay more attention to protecting migrant workers.
