The first webinar in a series from DTP and NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS) building awareness, knowledge and understanding of The Genocide Convention and the rights it recognises, contributing to conversations on contemporary conflicts in Palestine and Myanmar.
In the first webinar, Francesca Albanese, in conversation with Chris Sidoti, introduce the evolution of international law concerning genocide and The Genocide Convention itself. Both speakers provide profound perspectives on the impacts of genocide, the complexities of preventing atrocities, and the critical role of timely intervention in averting humanitarian crises.
