The Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) and the Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS) are organising a special series of webinars to build awareness of human rights. This webinar, the third and final on genocide, focused on Genocide Prevention & Advocacy: Lessons from Recent Genocides.
This special session aimed to deepen awareness of human rights and strategies for preventing atrocities.
This webinar focused on case studies that highlight early warning signs, prevention strategies, and global intervention efforts in genocide prevention. It examined the critical role of advocacy in preventing atrocities and provided insights on leveraging the Genocide Convention for effective advocacy.

DTP acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, the Bedegal people of the Eora Nation. We recognise their lands were never ceded, and we acknowledge their struggles for recognition and rights and pay our respects to the Elders – past, present – and the youth who are working towards a brighter tomorrow. This continent always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples should be aware that this website contains images or names of people who have passed away.
