Irfan works with the Human Rights Commission for Social Justice & Peace as President to empower and build the capacity of the student community in Quetta for a civilised, democratic and human rights based society and culture. Specifically, Irfan teaches the Convention for the Rights of the Child, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Constitution of Pakistan to community leaders, students, teachers and political activists in the furtherance of these aims, working to create awareness about these instruments as recognised international human rights standards and mechanisms. Irfan has previously worked with Amnesty International UK and with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on the Geneva Convention.
