Kania, 26 years old, currently works as Policy Analyst at National Commission on Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. She was formerly an Associate Lawyer at Melli Darsa & Co., Advocates and Legal Consultant, a Member Firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers or (“PwC”) Global Network. She graduated cumlaude from Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University and incoming student at Mahidol University in Thailand, majoring in Human Rights and Democratization. Kania is a registered civil servant, qualified the Indonesian Policy Analyst at the First Expert level from State Administrative Agency (Lembaga Administrasi Negara or “LAN”), and qualified the Indonesian bar exam and holding an interim Advocate License Card from Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia or “PERADI”). Kania’s hope that as a result of participating in this course she can strengthen Komnas HAM to solve the political skill and advocate the policy recommendation that will be used from many stakeholders and useful for human rights, and the most important think that the policy recommendations are always awaited and utilized by policy makers because of the quality.
