Luciano Luis Amaral

Luciano works for the Asosiasaun Halibur Defesiénsia Matan Timor- Leste as program manager. He is responsible for the advocacy, counselling, research and training teams of the organisation. Luciano works with the Executive Director for advocacy, counselling and education of the community in human right standards. Further, his organisation liaises with various municipalities in research to provide education, both through informal and formal services. He is committed to advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities and was a volunteer trainer in Braille in 2016. Thus, this training program will assist Luciano’s development of human rights as he implements in practice the rights of persons with disabilities within his organisation.
