December, 2015 - December, 2016 (5 modules)
The Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) and Migrant Forum in Asia (MFA) held a special course from Dec 2015 - Feb 2017 to develop the knowledge and skills of civil society/NGO advocates in Bangladesh that are committed to promoting respect for the human rights of migrant workers – and their rights as migrants – in Bangladesh and in countries of destination. The training program built the knowledge and skills for the protection of migrant workers from Bangladesh. It enabled participants to more effectively advocate for changes in policy and practice in relation to the growing number of migrant workers leaving Bangladesh to work overseas.

DTP acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, the Bedegal people of the Eora Nation. We recognise their lands were never ceded, and we acknowledge their struggles for recognition and rights and pay our respects to the Elders – past, present – and the youth who are working towards a brighter tomorrow. This continent always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
