MD Faruque Ahmed is the Secretary–General of WARBE (Welfare Association of Repatriated Bangladeshi Employees). He has a sound knowledge on the causes behind migration, the difficulties faced by the migrants, the vulnerabilities of their family members, the steps taken by the government to facilitate the migration process, the domestic and international rules and laws
regarding migration, the rights associated with the migrants, the national and international level organisations working for the rights of the migrants and the member of their families and their activities etc.
