DTP and STARTTS are calling for applications from refugee and migrant community leaders to participate in a half-day training program on child rights. This program is designed to strengthen understanding of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and explore practical applications of child rights frameworks across law, policy, health, education, and refugee services.

Applications are now open for the 34th Annual Human Rights and Peoples' Diplomacy Training Program. This annual, comprehensive human rights and advocacy course is the longest established human rights training program held in the region. It builds knowledge of international human rights standards and the UN system and skills in strategic advocacy. The program builds practical links between advocates in the region.

DTP alumnus Victor Mambor is a journalist and film-maker in Jayapura, West Papua, Indonesia.  He is the co-founder and an editor at Jubi (Tabloid Jubi), a leading independent media outlet based in Jayapura, West Papua, Indonesia. Victor is also the producer of the documentary Pig Feat, which chronicles the struggle of indigenous people in West Papua defending their ancestral lands from sugar plantations.
