Cassandra Gibbs

Cassandra Gibbs has recently completed her Diploma of Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Education from the Australian Catholic University. She has wide experience in the Australian Aboriginal sector having worked for numerous organisations such as the Biala Aboriginal Girls Hostel, Pulkurra Community Development Employment Program, the Edmund Rice Centre for Social Justice and Community Education. She has been a Youth Representative on the Reconciliation Commission working at the political and educational level. She has many interests and hobbies including traditional aboriginal painting, meeting new people, exploring new cultures, and travel. She is deeply committed to the reconciliation process between indigenous and non indigenous Australia, and hopes the training will help her in this process.
