Horacio Cagampang

Horacio Marcos Mordeno has been working in the medai sine 1984 as a freelance contributor to national dailies and magazines. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mindanao News and Information Cooperative Centre (MNICC), a cooperative composed of independent, professional journalists who believe and practice people empowerment through media. He serves as one of the editors of MindaNews, the news service arm of the cooperative. He also serves as an alternate member of the Provincial Development Council of Bukidnon representing the civil society sector and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Bukidnon NGO Forum. Aside from his media work he is also involved in various advocacies as an individual in the areas of human rights, the environment, indigenous people, peasant rights, and peace. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology).
