Lintang Setianti

Lintang is a researcher and campaigner for ELSAM. She researches policies and regulations on human rights in Indonesia. Based on her research, she provides technical expertise for government agencies in preparing policy drafts. She handles and researches cases on freedom of expression in relation to internet governance and privacy protection. She belives the DTP training will equip her with a better understanding of the UN system and its mechanisms, how to apply critical thinking in her reporting and advocacy, and how to engage on a national and regional level. She hopes to learn more on how to build solidarity, how to establish communication with different stakeholders such as the government, private sector and civil society in policy making process.
