Christopher Lam

Chris runs his own apparel business but also serves as Coordinator for 350PNG. His duties include organising and mobilising local action for climate change, as well as advocating for the transition to renewable energy. He also raises awareness with Labu Village, Morobe Province – advocating for the local communities who live along the surroundings of the Lae Tidal Basin, the site of the proposed coal fired power plant. By attending this training program, he hopes to gain a better understanding of human rights especially when it comes to the land and lives of local people living in the surrounding areas of current and proposed mining developments.
