Livio is the Administrative and Logistics Assistant with the Human Rights Unit of UNMISET. Livio has completed a human rights fellowship in Kuala Lumpar and is currently attending the University of Peace in East Timor, where he is majoring the in the Politics of Sustainable Development. Livio has completed training courses previously on the issues surrounding domestic violence and children’s rights.
Livio has been working towards the realisation of human rights within East Timor for almost 5 years. He believes that the people of East Timor need protection from human rights violations and he wishes to participate in the training to learn how to implement this protection, particularly in regards to migrant workers.
, Livio Xavier is an Administrative and Logistics Assistant for the Human Rights Unit in Timor-Leste. He provides technical support on logistical details and other administrative requirements for the organisation. Livio is an alumni of the DTP, having attended a training program in Bangladesh on Migrant Worker’s rights in 2005. He has found his past participation to be extremely valuable and looks forward to further training.
