Alice currently serves as Executive Manager of the UN Global Compact Network Australia, having joined in May 2013. Prior to joining the UN Global Compact Network Australia, Alice was a Policy and Sustainability Advisor at the UN Global Compact in New York, where she focused on business and human rights and supply chain sustainability. Alice was Lead Author of the UNGC’s Exposure Draft of the Business Reference Guide to the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Alice also managed government relations for the UNGC for the Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum. Alice has also consulted to the private sector on business and human rights and national and international corporate responsibility standards and frameworks. She served for 5 months as Newcrest Mining’s Corporate Responsibility and Human Rights Advisor in a project based role. Before moving into corporate responsibility, Alice was a Senior Associate at law firm Allens, specialising in corporate advisory. Alice has a Master of Communication, Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours), Bachelor of Finance and Bachelor of Economics.
