In my previous position as Field Worker at Waltja Tjutangku Palyapayi it was part of my job
role to advocate for the traditional owners of different remote Central Australian regions,
some of these were difficult to perform due to the fact they conflicted with my employer’s
policies and procedures. This is the reason I want to know more about the rights of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Main Concerns: The Northern Territory Intervention; racism; drug & alcohol abuse; domestic violence
