Elisabet Asrida Sulastri

Asri currently works as the program coordinator and secretary for community-based organisation, Yayasan Teratai Hati Papua (YTHP) which is involved in human rights advocacy networks and monitoring the human rights condition in Papua. Asri is responsible for administrative operations, data collection and analysis. She is also currently coordinating the “Kampung Damai” (Peace Community) program focusing on the elimination of violence, especially against women and children. Asri is interested in creative ways of human rights advocacy and is currently in the process of learning how to make a documentary. Considering the complexity of human rights issues in Papua, by participating in this program, Asri is eager to gain practical skills, particularly concerning the human rights system and advocacy strategies.
