Gerry Guna Bareme

Rev. Bareme has completed a number of training programs about counselling and management. He presently works as a Training Officer in the Social Concerns Division. In particular, he is responsible for HIV/ Aids awareness, counselling and care, environment and conservation awareness, basic counselling training, child abuse, gender issues, alcohol and drug issues, domestic violence, rehabilitation and the provision of counselling services. Rev. Bareme has met many individuals who feel that barriers exist which block them from speaking out on their own behalf. He would like to complete the DTP program so that he can learn more about human rights law which would in turn, empower him to speak on behalf of others that are marginalised in the community.
