Helena is completing a Teacher Training degree program. She has worked as the official translator and interpreter in Closing the Gap workshop in Ambon, in the Mediation of Land and Property Disputes Workshop in East Timor, in Reflecting on Peace Practice Workshop in Ambon, in Reconciliation, Mediation and Conflict Management Workshop in Ambon and participated in the Young Ambassador for Peace program in Australia.
