Joemela Simeon

Joemela has been the Legal Rights Training Officer of the Association for the past 16 months. During that time he has undergone extensive training in good governance, human rights and democracy. He has also organised training himself in the same areas and had done considerable work in electoral awareness in association with national elections in Vanuatu earlier this year. He has a MSc in Biology with research into Forest Ecology. As well, as his paralegal training, he has qualifications in assessment and workplace training. He is interested in organising human rights workshops throughout Vanuatu targeting both the general community and disadvantaged groups, and in training others to assist in the work.
