Ms Parajuli is 32 years old and lives in Kathmandu, Nepal. At INSEC, she currently holds the position of Co-ordinator for their Child Agricultural Workers Program, and has previously also worked for INSEC’s programs for Women and Caste Upliftment (non-discrimination). In her work she has been involved as a resource person in various training programs including Gender, HR, and Development, and has also been involved in various surveys relating to the status of women, such as in jails and political vicitimisation. She is also an executive member of the Communicator Women’s Forum.
Ms Parajuli wishes to attend the training to particularly address her knowledge/skill requirements on applicable international laws on women and children, and the ways these can be related to her work. She also wishes to develop a basic knowledge of the historical development of Human Rights and international law and what basic rights it supports.
