Tom Bamforth

Tom Bamforth is a writer and aid worker with twenty years’ experience working with the International Red Cross/Red Crescent, NGOs and UN agencies in Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East. He currently works in the Australian Aid program. He has published widely on humanitarian and development issues and is the author of two books, including The Rising Tide: Among the Islands and Atolls of the Pacific Ocean.
